Award-winning baking guru Eric Lanlard’s passion for patisserie began before he can remember. At the age of five every Sunday he would visit the local patisserie with his family. Eric decided then he was going to be a pastry chef.

He became head pastry chef to Albert and Michel Roux before striking out on his own, creating a diverse portfolio that includes the Cake Boy boutique in London, a host of recipe books, a roster of A-list clients – including P&O Cruises and luxury hotels – and many television appearances.

Eric’s skills and talent have turned him into a ‘much in demand’ global baking ambassador and he creates bespoke afternoon tea, sweet treats and experiences for the award winning P&O Cruises , Virgin Atlantic Airways and Marriott International.

The playful reinvention of his quintessentially British tradition takes teatime decadence to a new level on board Arcadia, Azura, Britannia and Ventura. Expect the unexpected with porcini and pancetta éclairs, curried crab tartlets, saffron and mango verrines and marble swirls red velvet cake pops.
